Hi, I'm Amy Cate — and travel isn't just what I do, it's who I am. For over 20 years I've been exploring the world, traveling multiple times a year to destinations across the Caribbean and Mexico. When I discovered I could turn that passion into a career helping others experience the same joy, I jumped in with both feet — and knew immediately it was exactly where I was meant to be.

For over five years I've specialized in Caribbean and Mexico travel, working directly with the resorts I love and trust most. I'm a proud Secrets Resorts devotee and a huge fan of the Hard Rock luxury properties — and I'll be honest, I still have a long list of places I can't wait to explore. My favorite destinations? Los Cabos for Mexico, and Aruba for the Caribbean — though every destination I recommend is one I'd happily visit again myself.

When I'm not planning someone's dream trip, you'll find me with my family — my wonderful husband, our two incredible adult children Kayla and Mason (and our son-in-love RJ!), and our sweet grandson Jackson, with another grandbaby on the way in August 2026. Life is full, joyful, and the best kind of busy.

Is your service really free? How does that work? +
Yes, 100% free — always. Unlike online booking agencies that buy up rooms in bulk and resell them to you at a markup, I work directly with the resorts. They pay me directly for bringing them great clients — so my expertise costs you absolutely nothing. No hidden fees, no booking charges, no catch. Just better service and the same great price.
How do I get started? +

Tell me a little about your trip — destination, travel dates, group size, and budget — and I'll take it from there. I'll reach out quickly (usually same day!) with personalized options just for you.
Do you only do destination weddings? +
Not at all! While destination weddings are one of my specialties, I help with all kinds of travel — couples getaways, family vacations, honeymoons, group trips, bachelor/bachelorette parties, vow renewals, birthday celebrations, and more. If it involves the Caribbean or Mexico, I'm your person.
Why should I use a travel agent instead of booking myself? +
I've personally visited the resorts I recommend, I have direct relationships with resort staff, and I handle everything from room blocks to special requests — things booking engines simply can't do. When something goes wrong (and sometimes it does), you have a real person in your corner who can actually fix it. Plus, my clients consistently get better rooms, perks, and treatment than independent bookers.
Can you help coordinate a large group or wedding party? +
Absolutely — this is one of my greatest strengths! I've coordinated groups of 60, 70, even more. I set up room blocks, manage individual guest bookings, answer guest questions directly, coordinate transportation, and stay in contact with the resort's event team throughout. Your guests are in great hands, and so are you.
What destinations do you specialize in? +
I specialize in Caribbean and Mexico travel, including Cancún & the Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Jamaica, Punta Cana & the Dominican Republic, Aruba, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, and Curaçao. I've personally visited many of these destinations and have deep expertise in the resorts, the experiences, and the logistics of getting there.
How far in advance should I start planning? +
The sooner the better! For destination weddings, I recommend starting 12–18 months out to secure your preferred resort, dates, and room block. For group trips or vacations, 3–6 months gives us great options and pricing. That said, I've helped clients plan amazing trips on shorter timelines too — so don't hesitate to reach out whenever you're ready.
